Fall 2025 Workshops
Open workshops adapt and apply purposeful play activities that include improv, creative writing, oral storytelling, movement, and other arts-based activities to a variety of pedagogical challenges and opportunities.
Lamp offers Playful Pedagogy introductory workshops this Fall that demonstrate ways that Improv principles such presence, listening and collaborative storytelling can improve student engagement as well as carry course content. Yes and workshops build on this foundation applying performing and fine arts techniques to explorations of status, embodiment, and identity. Our Improv and Writing series applies games to all aspects of writing across disciplines. Dr. Mullenneaux also designs open workshops to fit the needs of participants, so include your specific interests when you register!
Participants do not need any arts background or talent, just curiosity and an open mind. Please Register under our Events. Contact Nan Mullenneaux directly with questions.
