Nan Mullenneaux

Dr. Nan Mullenneaux taught Writing, History and Performance as a fellow and Professor of International Writing in Duke University’s Thompson Writing Program and Duke Kunshan University in China . Her publications include Staging Family, Domestic Deceptions of Mid-Nineteenth-Century Actresses and most recently, "Reimagining Writing in the History Classroom." Before earning her PhD in Gender and Cultural History in 2008, Nan worked as a professional actress, director, acting coach and artistic director. She now blends both careers as an Applied Arts Consultant and Facilitator with faculty, students, doctors and patients around the globe.
